Workshops!

29th March 2018

Thanks to 187 wonderful Pozible supporters, and a grant from Inspiring Australia, we are able to hold 15-16 community workshops across Tasmania in preparation for the Where? Where? Wedgie! survey at the end of May.

Would you like to help organise or attend one in your area?

The aims of these workshops are to:

The workshops can be held anywhere, at any time of day, and will include presentations on the aims, background and methods of the survey, as well as a sharing of advice from local and/or visiting experts on how to develop skills in raptor, cockatoo and corella identification. There will also be the option to spend a bit of time outdoors seeing what we can spot.

If you're interested in hosting, we would particularly like your help in finding a suitable venue and people who would like to attend. We'll provide at least one speaker, food and drink, lots of promotion of the workshop and various information resources. We can run them any time from early April until around 20th May, so that everyone's ready for the survey on 25th-27th May.

Potential hosts and participants - please let us know via this short questionnaire

You're also very welcome to follow up with questions via the Contact page, Facebook or Twitter

We've already heard from a number of people - so watch this space for a developing list of workshops as their dates and venues become finalised.
